Referral and partner terms

These terms cover two programs run by Digitex LLC, doing business as Printuple:

• The referral program, open to every Printuple customer, where one shop invites another and both get credit toward their bill.
• The partner program, for approved creators, reviewers and community builders, who earn a cash commission instead.

They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which still apply. Where they disagree, these terms win for anything to do with referrals or commission.

If you are a partner, you must say clearly and visibly that your link or code earns you a commission, every place you use it. In a video, say it out loud and put it in the description. In a post, put it near the link, not at the bottom of the page.

This is not a house style preference. The US Federal Trade Commission requires anyone with a material connection to a product to disclose it, and the penalties are real. If you are outside the US, your own rules still apply and you are responsible for meeting them.

We may ask you to fix a placement. If disclosure is missing and stays missing, we will end the partnership and withhold commission on anything earned through it.

A referral is counted when someone opens your link, creates a Printuple shop, and pays for a plan. Clicks are remembered for 30 days, so the person does not have to sign up on the spot, but the last referral link used is the one that counts.

Nothing is earned on a signup alone. Our free plan stays free, so a reward that fired on registration would reward nobody for anything. Commission and credit begin at the referred shop’s first paid invoice.

Partner commission continues for the window shown on your partner record, measured from that first payment. If the shop cancels, commission stops. If they move up a plan, your share moves with them.

Customer rewards are account credit, applied to your Printuple bill. They are not cash, we cannot pay them out, and they do not transfer between accounts.

If you are on the free plan when you earn one, we hold it. It is applied automatically the first time you subscribe to a paid plan.

The current reward and discount are shown on your Refer and earn page. We can change them for future referrals, but never for one already earned.

Partner commission is paid by PayPal or bank transfer once your balance clears the minimum shown on the partner page. We pay in US dollars, and any fees your side charges are yours.

If we pay you more than $600 in a calendar year, US tax rules require paperwork before we can send more. We will ask for a W-9 (or a W-8BEN if you are outside the US) and hold payment until we have it.

Commission earned on an invoice that is later refunded or charged back is reversed. If it has already been paid, we deduct it from your next payout.

• Referring yourself. Signing up again through your own link, using your own link for a second shop you control, or inviting people already on your team.
• Bidding on our name.Paid search on “Printuple” or close variants, or anything designed to intercept people already looking for us.
• Pretending to be us. Pages, emails or accounts that look official, including anything using our logo as a site identity or a lookalike domain.
• Spam. Unsolicited bulk email, mass DMs, comment spam, or posting your link where the community has said not to.
• Claiming things we do not do. Made-up features, invented numbers, or promises about results.
• Coupon and deal sites. Listing your code on aggregators, which captures people who were already going to sign up.

We check for this. A referral that looks like any of the above is held for review, and we may void it, withhold commission, or close the account behind it.

We can change these terms, the commission rate, the reward, or the qualifying window at any time. Changes apply to referrals made after the change, never retroactively to one already earned.

Either of us can end a partnership at any time, for any reason. If we end yours without cause, we still pay commission already earned and outstanding. If we end it for a breach of the rules above, we do not.

We can also pause or close either program entirely. If that happens, everything already earned and outstanding is still paid.
